11 CCTVs will Be Equipped with Loudspeaker

Currently Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) conducts trial on Circuit Closed Television (CCTV) equipped with loudspeaker in three locations. 11 of 14 CCTVs Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) in intersection will be equipped with loudspeaker soon.

Now, just three locations have been equipped with loudspeaker. We will equip in other locations soon

Jakarta Dishub's Traffic Operator System Management (SPLL) Operational Unit Head, Rachmat Wahyudin said, there are just 3 from 14 CCTVs PTZ have been equipped with loudspeaker. The remaining will be equipped soon.

"Now, just three locations have been equipped with loudspeaker. We will equip in other locations soon," he said at Abdul Muis Technical Dept. office, Central Jakarta, Friday (10/6).

He mentioned, those three locations are in Thamrin-Kebon Sirih traffic light, Sunan Giri, and Pos Pengumben. While other locations that have not equipped with loudspeaker are in Patung Kuda traffic light, Milenium Hotel, Harmoni, TU Gas, Blok Y1-Jalan Panjang.

Next, Blok A13-Jalan Panjang, Kedoya Pesing-Jalan Panjang, Sunrise Garden-Jalan Panjang, Kedoya Green Garden-Jalan Panjang, Kedoya Duri-Jalan Panjang, and Lapangan Bola-Jalan Panjang.

"We intend to make people more orderly in traffic by monitoring through control room and loudspeaker," he closed.
